being sick in the summer sucks

I have been sick for 4 days now.  I had to drag my sorry ass into the office yesterday since NO ONE does my job when I am gone.  That still pricks my hide.  They will be sorry when I resign with no notice.  Ahhhhh....my favorite dream.  I'm not the only one who would enjoy the chaos it would create either.

The only good thing about being sick is that it's a good excuse not to attend some lame event.  My friend insisted I go to this a few days ago.  I have been to it before and it's like a rodeo....if you have seen one, you have seen them all.  Funny.....my friend is sick also.  Thank God for small favors :) 

not a bad day

Got the f*cking grill put together all by myself.  Couldn't get the wood handle on the rotisserie but I don't plan to use it for awhile anyway. 

So the menu for this evening (if it ever cools down) is burgers, pasta salad, corn on the cob and Southern sweet tea.  My mouth is watering ;)

Patio Disaster

I bought a new grill a month ago.  Was excited that my son showed up today and wanted to put it together. visions of Cheese Burgers in his head.  He gave up after 30 minutes.  Now I have parts scattered all over my patio.  God must really hate me. 

Spiders

So....summer is finally here with sizzling temperatures.  It must be too hot for giant spiders so they want to enjoy my garage.  I'm thinkin.....NOT!!!

I hate spiders and I don't want them in my semi-living space.  I will teach them a lesson....lol

I am very proud of my bravery and techniques for killing these beasts.
